I completed my LLB and a Masters in International Business Law in UK, then returned to Cyprus to train as a solicitor at our family firm, Soteroula Stavri Socratous & Co LLC. That is where I learned what it really means to handle a legal file. Not just correctly, but with the care and attention that the person behind it deserves.
At 25, I received an offer that changed my direction. A Dubai-based residency-by-investment firm appointed me as their Cyprus Country Representative. For the first time, I was doing exactly this work at an international level: advising investors and families on Cyprus, guiding them through the process, representing the country I know best.
The Dubai situation shifted. But by then, I already knew what I wanted to build. I had seen how much difference one genuinely knowledgeable adviser can make to someone navigating a move, and how often that person simply does not exist. So I started Sokratous Advisory.
